Chris McCartney aka "McCleezy" was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts where he lived until his parents separated when he was 5. He then moved to North Andover, MA with his mother and twin brother for a few years until finally moving to Londonderry, New Hampshire where he currently resides. He started writing rhymes as a teenager and eventually bought his own studio equipment and built his own in-home studio. The songwriter/producer/rapper is currently working on his debut album titled "Underground", which he hopes to drop by the end of 2010. He has worked with artists such as Boston Jorge, M Dot, and V.S. with the company of producers Don D Boy, Robby C, and The Sound Scientist. McCleezy had his track "You With Me" (produced by Don D Boy) featured on the Coast 2 Coast Mixtape vol. 23 Hosted by Clinton Sparks and has been rumored of possibly releasing one or two mixtapes of his own prior to the release of his debut album.
